"Where Brooklyn at, where Brooklyn at?"  *cues Biggie Smalls*  Native Brooklynite by way of Jamaica, but currently soaking up some southern hospitality.

herSKINe, a play on my surname, was born out of sheer frustration due to the lack of knowledge about skincare and beauty in regards to women of color.  I mean we spend the most, but are the least catered to.  So where do I fit into this?  IT IS my job to provide accurate sound advice that the average skincare specialist won't share with you.  WHY you may ask?  Cause I want to!!! 

I have an undying passion for beauty/skincare.  It warms my heart when friends and family not only earnestly wait for my advice about a skin issue or a product recommendation, but hold on to my every word.

herSKINe's goal is to educate, but keep it light!  This has to be fun or you won't come back, soooooo if you're easily offended you are being forewarned to proceed with caution.
